Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2026

Together, we really can create communities free from abuse.

This October, The Spring is taking part in Domestic Violence Awareness Month — a chance for service providers around the country to educate the public, tell the powerful stories of survivors, and provide opportunities for real, tangible support. Create a safety plan.

If you are in an abusive situation and are not able or ready to leave, it’s important to think about how to keep yourself and others in the home safe.
